This was today. A forlorn little Ziggy, sick and sorrowful.
Today started very early. Some time just after midnight if I recall correctly. Apparently, 'after midnight' is the agreed upon time for stomach bugs to initiate a complete takeover.
It's a tremendous way to wake, isn't it? To the unmistakable sound of your child preparing to throw up on the pillow your head is sharing with his about-to-be-throwing-up one.
I pride myself on being a bit of a midnight ninja warrior, on my feet and ready to roll at a moments notice. I find Bren to be a leeeetle bit slower off the mark but last night, he was a force, flinging towels and wet facewashers at me, bringing buckets and stripping beds.
And through all the commotion, the bath Zig and I took, and the washing machine loads, Luca and Harlow slept on.
Thank you, baby Jesus.
Now I pray that the rest of us don't start falling like so many dominoes.
I have just one blog to share with you for this Saturday Share.
Four Plus An Angel – And She's Down
If you have never read Jessica's words before, I urge you to start. Here she writes of an approaching anniversary, one that no mother should ever have to commemorate. If ever there was a way to honour the life of her precious daughter, Hadley, it is through Jessica's exquisite and heartbroken words.
I hope you'll stop by.
Oh, I hope you don’t all collapse into vomitousness. Fingers crossed!!
Jessica is amazing.
Oh little man! He looks so very sad. Here’s hoping the rest of you don’t succumb.
And love that post of Jessica’s.
Oh no! I’m so sorry about the sicks! Yuck. Just yuck!

We know how the other thing went….
