Here's me trying to escape my children…
Let's just say that Mothers Day 2013 will not be remembered as one of my best. It's not that I wasn't spoiled or that I don't feel blessed. I was and I do. It's more that when you're 5, 3 and 1 year old, you don't give a shit what day it is and someone better get you your breakfast NOW or else you'll scream the house down.
It was a long day and unfortunately, Bren couldn't be home for it so this Mothers Day, life went on. And life with three very small children….is relentless. We celebrated yesterday instead but as I mentioned previously, kids love the idea of Mothers Day as it extends to present opening and going out for lunch but only if it doesn't interfere with what they need, when they need it.
So I'd like to write something flowery and sentimental about motherhood but the truth is, right now, I ain't really feeling it.
But I can say that my own mum was super-awesome on the phone tonight when I'd had a glass of wine and needed to pour out all my woes.
And now for the truly excellent news, a winner! Thank you to everyone who entered the Robomaid giveaway and for those of you who shared on Facebook. But there can only be one;

I laughed out loud about the crunchy floors and the Dyson in the cupboard. YES YES YES!
So I would rather have my kitchen dance party with the kids minus the crumbs than vacuum. 🙂
Congratulations, Kelly! Hopefully your very own Jeffrey will help facilitate many crumb-free kitchen dance parties in the future. Shoot me an email thelittlemumma[at]gmail[dot]com with your mailing address.
For everyone else, I noticed Robomaid are having a sale with free shipping. Check it out here.
