I went sort of AWOL over Christmas, didn't I? I hadn't necessarily planned to but that's what happened. And then, when I do come back, it's not with cute posts about Christmas or summer holidays but about my ongoing issues with crazy. Oh, dear.
Apart from losing my tiny mind for those 6 or so hours on New Year's Day, we have had a lovely time. Christmas was spent at home, just we five. It was the typical family affair – tears and laughter and everything in between. What would Christmas Day be without someone refusing to eat their roast potato? Hang on, wait a minute; that never happens. Everyone loves those crunchy pieces of heaven drowned in gravy!
There is something wrong with my children.
But their loss was my gain – in more ways than one. I could eat all the roast potatoes of the world. I would certainly like to try.
Cue frantic gym session.
Here are a few snaps from the last few weeks.
