The Little Daily: Creeping Up Behind Me

The Little Daily 14.8

Observe Luca and I off for a stroll.

Observe how little Luca was and observe his GOLDEN CURLS!

But mostly observe me from behind.

Bren took this photo about four months after Ziggy was born. He took this photo mostly because it was a totally cute moment but he also took it because he wanted to prove to me that I was not, as I bemoaned, fat.

And even though it seems I made the disturbing choice to wear leggings as pants that day, I have to agree that I did not look so bad afterall.

I have put on about 4 kilos since returning to my pre-baby weight two weeks after Harlow arrived (Little Mumma Tip #41: baking sweet things three or more times a week – and eating most of it yourself – is an excellent way to put on some beef!). Obviously, I am disappointed and feeling uncomfortable. But I probably don't look half as bad as my mind tells me I do.

I know what I have to do (gym – YES, brownies – NO) but beating myself up is not one of those things.

Hello friends

I’m Angie!  I mum. I write. I wife. My husband would say this is the correct order.  He’s so neeeedy. I live with my family in Melbourne, Australia, where I complain about the weather for 90% of the year – but I can’t imagine living anywhere else. Except maybe in Lake Como, waving to my neighbours George and Amal each morning.

Amen. Beating yourself is never a good one.

Also? How pure adorable are you?!

If I looked like that, I’d wear leggings as pants Every. Day.
