Little Lady has her very first cold.

An inevitable fact of life, and an important lesson for her little immune system, but still, I hate seeing my babies sick.

Through the coughing and her husky cries, she can still find a smile for us.*

My heart is on fire for this little girl.

Hello friends

I’m Angie!  I mum. I write. I wife. My husband would say this is the correct order.  He’s so neeeedy. I live with my family in Melbourne, Australia, where I complain about the weather for 90% of the year – but I can’t imagine living anywhere else. Except maybe in Lake Como, waving to my neighbours George and Amal each morning.

    *sigh* look at that perfect little love. I want to hold her.

  2. Amanda @ mammajoy

    Oh that’s not nice 🙁 Hope it clears up soon. And that you don’t have to use that horrible snot-sucker thingy.

    Oh poor, sweet girl! I hope she feels better soon!

    {Still adorable. Obviously.}

    Oh, aren’t they hideous? Haven’t needed to use that yet. She’s more swallowing mucous and then chucking it up. Poor little doll. Might take her to the doc tomorrow just to make sure her chest is clear.

    August 18 or something like that!

    We’ve gotten to 5 mths without an illness yet, I think my little Rose has a good immune system!

    Hope your precious baby girl is sunshine & smiles again soon. x

    Aw, little poppet! You’ve both done well for her to not have one until now.

    F was 4 weeks old and P was 2 weeks old – both fully breastfed. So much for that theory!

    Hope it’s just a quick cold and your little lady’s back to normal in no time. xxx
