Baby Hi Lo (courtesy of a friend's three-year-old daughter)
There is joy in the smallest things; nappies that come packaged in pink cardboard boxes; smiles that chase tears and tears that chase smiles and every other emotion balancing on a knife's edge; a deep sigh into my shoulder as though it were here she had been waiting to lay her little head for so very long; a laundry basket overflowing with pink, pink, pink and creamy whites; and ruffle butts, always ruffle butts.
So this is what it feels like to have everything…..
Beautiful photo’s love the smile on the first one. 11 weeks already time surely does fly when you have kids. It feels like so long while pregnant and dying to meet the little person then it all goes in a blink of an eye.
That’s very true, Dani. The moment they arrive, time goes into warp speed. Thank god for cameras!
And thank you. We think she’s pretty adorable.
Eleven weeks already? Say it isn’t so. She’s precious.
And Baby Hi Lo? Too cute.
Flying by, Mad. Totally flying.
Baby Hi Lo! Isn’t it perfect?
Lovely pics – she is coming along nicely.
