This little package arrived in the mail two days ago.
Oh man, I love snail mail.
There was a time when I was probably doing more online shopping than was strictly necessary just to feed that delivered package need….
Annnnyway, today, a package! A parcel of loveliness.
Yes, Angie Baxter sent me the digital negatives of our recent photo shoot. And she also included a matted enlargement for me. Squeal! And faint with delight!
I can not wait to hang this beautiful family photo in our new home.
CAN. NOT. WAIT.
Here's the thing about digital negatives. When you look at the cost, you just about faint dead away. But buying the digital negs can be a smart idea. If you loved pretty much every shot then owning the digital files allows you to print off snaps of each and enlarge the ones you want to. This will obviously be cheaper than going through the photographer. BUT then again, going through the photographer does ensure quality prints – especially important if you're after enlargements, canvases and portraits as wall art.
Angie has a whole bunch of options for you and as you can see, whatever you choose will arrive on your doorstep beautifully packaged and presented.
I am a sucker for the extra touches!
But mostly, I'm a sucker for Angie. Just so grateful to have found her. A photo session with Angie is an investment in a lasting piece of family gorgeousness.
Book a session with Angie by 31 May (session can take place any time in 2011) and receive a free enlargement valued at $135. Just mention The Little Mumma.
Soooooooooooo how often does Angie B come to Sydney? I want her to capture some Dell-Sewell delightfulness (or lack thereof!). Ive had a bazillion and twelve family photog sessions, but I NEED a package wrapped like that. Yes, I do.
I’m excited for you! You must show a photo of your walls newly adorned, when in place – or will you wait until after you’ve moved?
Just over these last few weeks, I’ve finally got around to printing off 3.5 years’ worth of photos. I can’t wait to put the best ones up, framed on a wall, and personalise this damn rental at last, so that it’s less IKEA-ish… but how I would LOVE some images of the calibre you’ll be putting up! I need to bite the bullet and look into finding a good photographer here.
Ohh so glad Angie did your family shoot! She is such a honey & extra special friend of mine. Bet they are just divine!
I know she does travel interstate quite regularly to hold her workshops. Email her!
Yep, I’m saving the grand hanging for the new place! I’m packing already! Weeeeeee!
And yes, get some pics done. So worth it.
They are GORGEOUS, Lea. Check out a week or so back – I posted them then.
Snail mail and photos to frame. *Love* Add in some chocolate and wine and it’s perfection! XO
Not related to the photos – which are gorgeous – I am in love with your little wooden toys from Zoology. They look so beautifully crafted and would live forever. Now let’s see, do I know any little boys who might like a little elephant?
